Adam James Pigott, popularly known as BlaqNmilD is an American record producer, songwriter and entrepreneur. Born and raised in the 3rd Ward of uptown New Orleans Louisiana, Pigott has been heavily devoted to creating music since he was a youngster. After being the in-house producer for No Limit Forever Records at Master P label BlaqNmilD launched his own label “Musical Geniuses Records” releasing his own artist FreshXreckless, Dino BTW, Iijane, 504 Detroit and more.

BlaqNmilD eventually amassed a viable following in the city at a time when it was realized that New Orleans-birthed bounce music, though a regional staple, was a forceful genre and booming business throughout the Gulf Coast. Adam transitioned from locally-lauded DJ to go-to producer and  a mixtape aristocrat throughout the Big Easy. While establishing himself as a burgeoning producer, he developed a rapid release mixtape product and distribution system as a platform for aspiring artists, primarily in the music and dance culture space of bounce. Through his BlaqBiggyBlaq mixtape series, he became one of the most influential music creators in the region, helping to shape the careers of Big Freedia, Magnolia Shorty, 5th Ward Weebie, HaSizzle, 10th Ward Buck, Treety and Hotboy Ronald to name a few. He has also produced for the likes of Fredo Bang, Young Jeezy, Master P, Yo Gotti, Juvenile, Saweetie, Kash Doll, Pleasure P, Quando Rondo, Partners N Crime, SupahBadd, SubTweet Shawn, Donald Harrison, The Soul Rebels an many more.

In 2016 his mixtape classic, “She Rode That D*ck Like A Shoulder”, which features HaSizzle was sampled on Drake’s “Child’s Play” from the “Views” album. In 2018, Adam produced Drake’s global chart toppers, “In My Feelings” and “Nice For What”. In 2019, he produced the Top 20 soundtrack single, “Ride or Die” with Megan Thee Stallion and Vickeelo from the the motion picture, Queen & Slim. On June 20, 2022, He also has writers credit on “Cant Stop Wont Stop” by King Combs featuring Kodak Black.

Hours before Beyoncé released the lead off single, “Break My Soul” from her “Renaissance” album, Adam “BlaqNmilD” Pigott and Big Freedia were among other writers announced as credited on what would become BlaqNmilD third international hit and Billboard #1 single.
