Founders & executives
The three people who built Elation and run it day-to-day.
David Lee Adams
David's love for entrepreneurship started young. After a championship career in pro fishing (ESPN2's Billfish Extreme Release League) and Paso Fino horse showing, he opened his first exotic car dealership at 17 — MotorCars of Distinction in West Palm Beach. By 23 he'd sold over $10M in supercars and launched the Palm Beach Supercar Experience. In 2013 he moved to LA and founded Elation. Within a year The Recording Academy tapped Elation to speak at Grammy Camp's "Creation to Elation" event. He's worked with Glorilla, Robin Thicke, Scott Storch, Ne-Yo, Rick Ross, Jordin Sparks, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Sheila E, Jon Secada, Joe Perry, and ran writing camps in his Burbank studio for Beyoncé, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber. In 2021 he bought the 12,000 sq ft Metairie building and built Elation's current home. He serves on the G STAR Charter School board building a K-12 music curriculum and was inducted into the 2023 Men of Fashion New Orleans Hall of Fame. He married his grade-school girlfriend Candace in 2019; they have two kids, Asher and Aspen.
Silkk The Shocker
Silkk "The Shocker" Miller is a multi-Platinum selling artist, producer, and filmmaker. He joined Elation in 2016 as President and Creative Director to help propel the company to the next level. As co-founder of the iconic No Limit Records, Silkk and his team have sold over 75 million records worldwide — over $500 million in sales. In 2019 he and David created the No Limit Reunion Tour, which has been on the road ever since. Silkk has made his mark in music, business, marketing, and production, and continues building on that legacy with new ventures inside Elation and beyond.
Timothy "Bos" Bullock
Tim "Bos" Bullock is the founder of Ivy League Productions, with multi-platinum sales and Billboard hits across genres. He's from Detroit and graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta. His pro career started in 2006 with the title track on Young Jeezy's platinum album The Inspiration. His credits include Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Britney Spears, NCT U, and Skrillex. He produced Britney Spears' "Womanizer" — her first #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since her debut single — and Chrisette Michele's Epiphany, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. His work on Ledisi's Let Love Rule got a Best R&B Album Grammy nomination. He produced "Sandcastles" on Beyoncé's Lemonade and simultaneously held the #1 and #2 albums worldwide with Lemonade and EXO's Ex'Act. In K-Pop he produced Red Velvet's "Really Bad Boy," a global #1 with 7.5M streams in its first 24 hours on YouTube. He scored the Netflix film Beats with Anthony Anderson and most recently moderated the "Music in the Neighborhood" fireside chat with Al Bell and Paul Riser Sr. at the DNC in Milwaukee. He continues to develop independent musical talent through Ivy League Productions.
